How it works

If your hand is not a 4x raise, check pre-flop and wait for the flop. Checking keeps Play exposure smaller until you have more information.

Betting pattern

Strong: 4x. Weak/borderline: check. Do not 4x trash like 9-4, 8-3, J-5, 7-2, Q-4 offsuit. $10 Ante + Blind only = $20 before flop.

Bankroll / drawdown risk

Low-medium per hand when checking controls exposure.
